Very rare,
original 1943 WWII Studebaker/Flying Fortress poster. LARGE poster measures 36"x 28". A very iconic image of the B-17 Flying Fortress. These large sized posters of Flying Fortress/Studebaker ads were commissioned by Studebaker in 1943. These were displayed in Studebaker factories promoting their WWII efforts. Studebaker was responsible for building the Wright Cyclone engine used in the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. Studebaker was also one of the largest builders of Military trucks during the war. A nice image of the US6 truck is also seen on this poster.
Excellent condition. Shows edge wear and handling wear. Discoloration in lower right corner. Incredible illustration artwork by Frederic Tellander. Offset lithograph on paper. Reverse side is blank. Very Rare piece of WW2 history. Add this too your collection!
