Description
This great all-original WWII factory poster is fresh from a local Western New York estate. I would guess it was originally from one of the old aircraft factories in Buffalo such asCurtiss-Wright
or Bell Aircraft. This item is double-sided and consists of a thin sheet of plywood with two copies of the same poster attached, one on either side. It measures 41.5" long by 31.5" tall by 1/4" thick. The wood was a bit too small to fit the whole poster on, so on one side the poster is off-center and you can see more of the left edge. In the top left corner there is a space labeled "Department Standing %" that was intended to be used for the workers to keep track of their progress. Both sides also have a sort of "progress bar" stretching across the Pacific marked "80", "90", and "100". I think it was intended for a little picture of an aircraft to be taped up and moved down the line as the project reached completion. As you can see this item has some surface wear and tears to the paper, but for a large paper item that is around 80 years old it is in very good condition. Please see all photos. A terrific piece of wartime history!
I am always available to answer questions about my items, shipment methods, or anything else. Please note, however, that I ask that any special requests (alternate shipping arrangements, alternate methods of payment, international customs matters, etc.) are inquired about before purchase.

I try to describe and photograph items comprehensively, but returns are gladly accepted on any item that is not as described (as long as it is in the same condition as when it was sent out). Please note that I take the 5 days after receipt of your item seriously-- please do your part by opening your package upon arrival and checking the contents, then letting me know right away if there is a problem. The buyer pays the return postage for any returns. Returns will not be accepted for any other reason.
