    Description

    Vintage 1942 "Typical Kilo Magnesium (Electron) Incendiary Bomb" poster from a WW2 Civil Defense Training manual where it was folded in. Measures about 17" x 20". Excellent shape. Great graphics.
    The 1 kg incendiary bomb was one of the most common incendiary devices dropped by the Luftwaffe on Britain and so it made sense to prepare for them in the US. They were 13.5" long, 2" in diameter cylinders of magnesium alloy filled with thermite, which was ignited upon impact by a small percussion charge.
