    This handsome poster of a portrait drawing of General Douglas MacArthur by Carl Bohnen was produced during World War II  when General MacArthur was commander of U.S. Army Forces battling Imperial Japan in the Far East. Mr. Bohnen (1872-1951) was an American painter and portraitist; he drew this portrait of General MacArthur in 1942, and his signature is reproduced in the art. “©Louis F. Dow Co., St. Paul / Litho in U.S.A.” is printed below the image at left.
