Bag from original Paratrooper Photographer's "Official War Combat Photos"; photos sold just after the War.  They were bought by a
Veteran who served in the 504th.  He was a Paratrooper in the Army Air Corp who then signed up with the USAF when it was formed. He then went to Korea.  Some of the photos listed in other auctions are from Korea.  After Korea, his last post was Ellsworth Air Force Base and that's where he met my Aunt.  They married, but shortly after, he drown when a boat capsized on a half frozen lake.  He had no chance at kids and his family is gone long ago; that's why these photos are for sale.  I never met him and my Dad credited my Uncle's flight pants with saving his life, or I wouldn't be here either.
